Holy Trinity Parish Pastoral
Plan WORSHIP
Goals
*To
enhance liturgies through lector, Eucharistic minister, cantor and
usher participation. *To
offer special worship services, such as a Mission, an Anointing
Mass, and Divine Mercy devotions, to promote ongoing spiritual
renewal in the parish. *To
develop a prayer group that will offer prayers for the requested
intentions placed in a special prayer box located in the church. COMMUNITY Goals *To
introduce the use of greeters at all weekend and holiday Masses. *To
retrain ushers to better accommodate the congregation. *To
establish a system that will identify those parishioners who need
Communion served to them in their pews. *To
develop a ministry that reaches out to parishioners in times of need
and acknowledges times of joy. Goals *To
encourage parishioners to participate in other parishes’
activities as well as in ecumenical events within the community. *To
develop a theme for Christian Community Week, such as a candle
service. TEACHING Goals *To
educate parishioners on vital and current topics in the Catholic
Church using bulletin inserts. *To
arrange for informative presentations on a variety of Catholic
topics. *To
publish an annual financial report. SERVICE Goals
*To
establish an annual Thanksgiving food drive. *To
provide a needy family with food and gifts at Christmas. LEADERSHIP Goals *To
establish a yearly activity to promote fellowship among the members
of the parish pastoral council. *To
provide news releases to local publications to increase the
community’s awareness of parish activities. STEWARDSHIP Goals *To
explore the possibility of creating a parking area at the cemetery. *To
form a committee to evaluate the most effective use of the current
parking area at the church. We
pray to the Holy Trinity for guidance as we work to achieve the
